This Privacy Policy describes how Receipt Parser ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the Receipt Parser iOS app (the "App").
Information We Process
When you scan a receipt, the image is sent to our secure processing server, which uses Google's Gemini AI to extract the line items. Images are not stored on our servers — they are processed in memory and immediately discarded.
We do not create user accounts, and we do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifying information.
Data Stored on Your Device
Your scan history and preferences are stored locally on your iPhone using iOS standard storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it (e.g. using the CSV export feature).
Advertising
The free tier of the App includes rewarded advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads, subject to Google's Privacy Policy. You can limit ad tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
In-App Purchases
Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information.

Children's Privacy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
